In the middle of Bourton-on-the-Water is a model version\u00a0of the village, built in the 1930s. I loved walking around it, as it was the right size for me. Felt like I could live there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went over Christmas and had recently got a new camera, so used the opportunity to take it on a test run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were lots of interesting buildings. The village had it’s own church, an ironmongers, sweet shop and a pub. I really liked the big house with it’s big gates, I would love to live in that house. Patchy, Lord of the Manor has a ring to it don’t you think?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it was a model village I do wonder whether anybody actually lived there. As a smaller being you can sometimes pick up on hints that the bigger folk don’t. The odd crack around a door that should be solid or windows that have been cleaned on the inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so I did attempt to find out if anyone was home. After a very thorough search of the village I can conclude that either I was wrong and there isn’t anyone living there, or they were all out that day. I’d like to think it was the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
