The Boston Tea Party is one of the most unique cafe/restaurant/food place I’ve seen. All it does is serve brunch all day. Everything from Eggs Benedict to sausage buns as well as a selection of burgers. In the centre of Stratford it is definitely the place to go if you want something between a snack and a meal. I, after a good few minutes deliberating decided on a mocha and some pancakes with maple syrup and bacon.
First came the mocha which was smooth rich coffee with a hint of chocolate and finished with a strong coffee kick. It was delicious. Once I had finished the mocha my batch of pancakes came. I personally had never had this combination of pancakes, maple syrup and bacon before and I’ve always thought it was an extremely weird mixture. That day I was feeling adventurous and so I chose the strange concoction over eggy bread.
And I’m glad I did. The smoky bacon, the caramel maple syrup and pancake flavours all role into one making it taste slightly smoky and sweet and amazing. It’s now one of my favourite brunches.
